Tempur-Sealy International, home to iconic brands like Tempur-Pedic, Sealy, Stearns & Foster, and Cocoon, needed a more informative and engaging careers page. Our research found that many job seekers and new hires felt they didn’t have enough insight into the company, roles, and culture during the application process. My goal was to bridge this gap by designing a careers page that was both welcoming and highly informative.
Through employee polling, a recurring theme emerged: candidates wanted more transparency. Many felt uncertain about what to expect from the hiring process, workplace culture, and growth opportunities. The existing careers page lacked depth, often leaving applicants searching elsewhere for information.
To address these concerns, I designed a careers page that balanced professionalism with approachability. The layout was structured for easy navigation, ensuring that job seekers could quickly access key details about company culture, and benefits. The visual design was fun and inviting, creating a first impression that felt both engaging but credible. Transparency was a top priority, so we incorporated employee testimonials. By prioritizing both clarity and accessibility, the new page provided a seamless experience that reflected Tempur-Sealy’s commitment to its employees.
The response was overwhelmingly positive. New hires reported feeling more confident in their decision to apply, and engagement on the careers page increased significantly. By creating a more accessible and informative experience, we not only improved the application process but also strengthened Tempur-Sealy’s employer brand.
