Kaiju Castings is a small, purpose-driven business born out of resilience, friendship, and a shared love of cult cinema. Created for an owner managing chronic health challenges, the business was intentionally designed to be sustainable and flexible—operated from his family’s farm with a focus on high-quality worm castings for gardening. The brand concept draws directly from our long-running monster movie nights—especially Mystery Science Theater 3000—and the larger-than-life personality of his jumbo worms. From that, the name “Kaiju Castings” emerged: a playful, memorable identity that elevates a humble product with a sense of scale, humor, and character. I developmented the visual identity and website experience, positioning Kaiju Castings to grow beyond its early Etsy presence into a more established, standalone brand.
